1. What Is Currently Active

As of the Effective Date, the Site uses the following:

• Staff Blog Editor Cookie — a session authentication cookie used solely for authorized staff access to the internal blog content editor. This cookie is not set during ordinary visitor browsing and does not track public users.
• UI Preference Cookie — a small cookie that stores a display preference (such as a layout or theme setting) for your browsing session. It does not collect personal information or communicate with any third party.
• Google Analytics 4 — analytics cookies that measure how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referral source), so we can understand performance and improve the experience.

2. Analytics Details

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2 and IP anonymization. Advertising signals, remarketing, and cross-context behavioral advertising are disabled — analytics data is used only to measure and improve the Site.

You can opt out of analytics at any time using the "Privacy Choices" control in the Site footer. Declining analytics does not affect your access to the Site or any of its features.

3. Third-Party Embeds

The Site includes an embedded Google Maps widget on certain pages. When the map loads, your browser makes a request to Google's servers, and Google may set its own cookies in accordance with Google's privacy policy. This is standard behavior for any website that embeds Google Maps and is outside S. Wolf's control.

4. What Is Not Active

The Site does not use advertising or remarketing pixels (no Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, or LinkedIn Insight Tag), and no third-party email marketing platform (such as Mailchimp, Brevo, or Constant Contact) is currently integrated with the Site.

5. Your Browser Settings

You can manage cookies through your browser settings at any time. You can also opt out of analytics directly through the "Privacy Choices" control described above. Essential functions, such as remembering your privacy preference, rely on limited local storage.

6. Prior Website (Wix)

If you previously visited S. Wolf on our former Wix-hosted website, that site may have set cookies from Wix or its embedded services. Those cookies are not associated with this Site. You can clear them through your browser settings.
